@chrisbitschi Sorry, there is no "add ship" button as I feared that it might cause some duplication, or worse, we might get some completely invented new ships! You can find the MC Deliverance in the list now, though - i've added it.

@lauren - Wow, I hadn't even spotted that they were different values, they should be the same of course. I will try to make sure thats updated when I upload a future version of the pages!

Love the site for ship selection. One suggestion though: Viewing Broadside weight in the ship search and sort is very deceiving and not a good method for Broadside Weight comparison. Could you not use the value found in the ship details: Armament/full broadside/broadside weight?

Firstly nice site been following your site since it was discussed on the boarding party so well done.

So my first request is the ability to post comments from players on the particular ships, not suggestions on it so much but people experience with the boat and its strengths and weaknesses as well as perhaps outfitting suggestions.

also cos im lazy there is a skill program online to display and organise the spending of skill points however it is out of date and be nice to have all on the one site.
maybe as a side note the choice to display your active build and a description, this is good for new players and those looking to improve their skills.

If you can give me an example of where the gun weights are calculating incorrectly for a ship I will look into it. Remember the "Broadside Weight" is only for one side of the ship, and is representative of the weight of a single volley. The total firepower of the ship would be effectively double, however this would require firing both sides at one target which is impossible without manoevering. Swivel guns are not counted on the broadside as they are ineffective beyond 100yds.

To the site manager: I believe that the gun weight/broadside damage/DPS is incorrectly being displayed for Multi-Gun Deck Ships. The ships with more than one deck are not calculating correctly, they are severely low sided. Also the normal Lvl 10 "El Dragon Barque" is not in the ship list.

The calculations for broadside weights are off - especially on the main shipyard page (www.potbs-companion.net/shiphard/index.php), but not for all ships. For example, the MC Cerberus has a broadside of 121lbs but is listed as 240lbs (but that number doesn't account for the swivels even).

Search filters don't seem to work anymore. No matter how I set the filter (happens in both FF and IE7) I get a list back of every ship in the game sorted by size.

I set it to show all ships between levels 30-40 and sort by total number of cannons restricted by career.
